What's Holding YOU Back?

It certainly is an interesting question isn't it? It is a question I have had to ask of myself, my staff, my friends, aquaintances and many of the trainees I come into contact with? How many times have you said any of the following; -

I'd love to try Salsa Dancing/Rock Climbing/Toastmasters
I'll try that when I lose a couple of kilos
I could do HIS job so much better than HIM
How did she get that job?
I'd like to try it but I'm too scared
One day I'll give it a go
Maybe when I'm having a better hair day!
I'm too fat to do that
I'm too ugly to do that
I can't do that
I'd love to BUT..........

These are just some of the statements I hear on a regular basis. Well the good news is that you are in charge of your own destiny ! If I today, asked you the same question, What would you say? You may be very surprised at your own answer, I know I was. What is holding YOU back? Many people express the same things; the kids are so demanding, I don't have the time, I can't fit it all in. In most of the cases, the reasons given are valid but often very self limiting, it may sound simple and you may have heard it many times before, but if you do not like something in your life - find the tools to change it! If you have a dream - pursue it!

If you can honestly answer the question What's holding YOU back?, you will have the power to change it. In fact, in many cases, once confronted, you may well see how absurd the reasoning behind it is... I know mine was.
